In the EarOpen Fit
For mild to moderate hearing loss and the perception of Sound Voids™

  • A hard-molded, plastic case is worn behind the ear, and a clear plastic tube wraps into the ear canal, while a small, soft silicone dome holds the tube in place inside of the ear canal.
  • May be barely visible depending on case color.
  • The lightweight tube and soft tip provides optimum comfort and minimal visibility.

Mini-CanalMini-Canal (MC)
For mild to moderately severe hearing loss and the perception of Sound Voids™

  • All components are contained in a custom-fit, hard-molded plastic shell.
  • Fits inside the ear canal.
  • Barely or not at all visible in the ear canal.

Half ShellHalf Shell (HS)
For mild to severe hearing loss and the perception of Sound Voids™

  • All components are contained in a custom-fit, hard-molded plastic shell.
  • Fills a portion of the bowl of the ear.
  • Visible inside the ear.

In the EarBehind the Ear (BTE)
For mild to profound hearing loss and the perception of Sound Voids™

  • All components are contained in a case worn behind the ear.
  • A hard-molded, plastic case is worn behind the ear, and a custom-fit earmold extends into the ear.
  • May be barely visible depending on case color and earmold color.

In the EarIn-the-Ear (ITE)
For mild to severe hearing loss and the perception of Sound Voids™

  • All components are contained in a custom-fit, hard-molded plastic shell.
  • Fills the entire bowl of the ear.
  • Visible inside the ear.

In the CanalIn-the-Canal (ITC)
For mild to moderately-severe hearing loss and the perception of Sound Voids™

  • All components are contained in a custom-fit, hard-molded plastic shell.
  • Fits outside the ear canal.
  • Slightly visible inside the ear.

In the CanalReceiver in the Canal (RIC)
For mild to profound hearing loss and the perception of Sound Voids™

  • A hard–molded, plastic case is worn behind the ear, and a clear speaker wire with a plastic coating wraps into the ear canal.
  • A small, soft silicone dome or custom earmold holds the speaker in place inside of the ear canal.
  • The lightweight speaker wire, soft tip, and small case size provide optimum comfort and minimal visibility.
